Configure Your
Prefab Container House.
Pick the spec for each of the seven components. Standard configurations ship from local stock; custom dimensions, RAL colors and panel thickness ship on a 10–15 day lead.
01 — FRAME
Main Frame
The load-bearing skeleton. Decides lifting, stacking and where the unit can sit on site.
- Steel grade Q235B cold-formed structural steel
- Finish Hot-dip galvanized + anti-corrosion coating
- Module 6055 × 2990 × 2896 mm (outer)
- Interior height ~2410 mm net after ceiling finish
- Stacking G+2 (3 floors) capable
Coastal sites (Jeddah, Dammam, Yanbu)? Specify Q355B + extra anti-corrosion. Multi-storey camps? Reinforced base & G+2 verified by structural load review.
02 — WALL
Wall Panel
Decides room temperature, fire safety, sound and finish look.
- Core Rock wool, non-combustible
- Thickness 50 mm
- Skin 0.426 mm color-coated galvanized steel, both sides
- Fire rating Class A (core)
- Color RAL standard from stock palette
Riyadh / Tabuk / Empty Quarter (high heat)? Use 75 mm for AC load reduction. Oil & gas / EPC sites? Class A non-combustible only — reject EPS / PU on these projects.
03 — ROOF
Roof Panel
Reflects desert solar load. Decides AC sizing and how often you complain about heat.
- Core Glass wool with aluminium foil facing both sides
- Thickness 50 mm
- Top sheet Color-coated galvanized steel
- Waterproofing Sealed panel joints + perimeter trim
- Load Suitable for maintenance access (light)
High AC load projects (24/7 cooled offices / dorms)? Add reflective coating + 75 mm core. Occasional heavy rain regions (Asir highlands, Tabuk winter)? Specify pitched roof.
04 — FLOOR
Floor System
What people actually stand on every day. Match it to room function.
- Subfloor 18 mm fiber cement board (moisture-stable)
- Finish 2 mm PVC roll flooring
- Base Galvanized steel base beam
- Moisture Vapor barrier + perimeter sealing
Worker dormitories — standard PVC, easy clean. Shower / WC blocks? Anti-slip PVC or ceramic tile with drainage slope. Storage / workshop? Industrial epoxy on thicker board.
05 — DOOR
Door
Security, thermal seal and access — in one assembly.
- Type Insulated steel panel door, single leaf
- Size W900 × H2050 mm
- Hardware Multi-point lock + door closer
- Finish Color-coated to match wall panel RAL

The standard module size for our prefab container house units is 6055 × 2990 × 2896 mm (length × width × height). Net interior height is approximately 2410 mm.
| Dimension | Standard Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 6055 mm | Standard module |
| Width | 2990 mm | Standard module |
| Total Height | 2896 mm | Including frame |
| Net Interior Height | ~2410 mm | After ceiling finish |
| Floor Area | ~18 m² | Per single unit |
Wall panels use a rock wool core (50 mm standard, 75 mm optional) between double-sided color-coated steel skins. Rock wool is non-combustible (Class A fire rating), which is relevant for sites with fire safety requirements.
Roof panels use a glass wool core with aluminium foil facing on both sides. The foil layer reflects radiant solar heat — relevant for units operating under the high solar radiation conditions typical of Saudi Arabia.
Standard units can be stacked up to G+2 (3 floors). Single-floor units typically require only concrete pad footings or compacted gravel — no deep foundation work in most site conditions.
For G+1 and G+2 configurations, a structural connection detail between floors is required, and the ground bearing capacity of the site should be assessed before installation. Our team can advise on foundation requirements based on your project location and soil conditions.
The standard specification is designed with Saudi Arabia site conditions in mind. The steel frame is hot-dip galvanised for corrosion resistance. Wall panels use rock wool which resists moisture and temperature cycling. Roof panels include an aluminium foil radiant barrier.
For projects in areas with particularly high ambient temperatures or heavy wind-sand abrasion — such as Riyadh, Tabuk, or the Empty Quarter region — we recommend specifying 75 mm wall panels and confirming the air conditioning load allowance with your MEP team.
Delivery & Lead Time
We manufacture and stock units at our Riyadh facility. Standard configurations are available from local inventory for urgent requirements. Lead times vary by order type:
| Order Type | Typical Lead Time |
|---|---|
| Standard units from stock | Available immediately |
| Small batch (1–10 units) | 3–7 working days |
| Medium order (10–50 units) | 7–15 working days |
| Bulk / custom order (50+) | 10–20 working days |
Yes. We deliver to project sites across Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah, Dammam, Tabuk, Madinah, and remote project locations. Delivery cost and logistics arrangements depend on the project city, access road conditions, and order volume.
For remote sites with access restrictions, please provide the site coordinates and road width details when submitting your enquiry so we can confirm transport feasibility.
For export / import orders produced at our China facility, a standard 40HQ shipping container typically fits approximately 8–16 prefab container house units, depending on the configuration and fit-out level.
Lightly fitted units (frame + panels only, minimal internal fit-out) load more efficiently. Fully fitted units with internal partitions, doors, windows, and flooring load at the lower end of the range.
Installation
A standard single unit can typically be assembled by a team of 4–6 people in 2–4 hours, assuming the base has been prepared and all components are on site. This does not include MEP (electrical and plumbing) connection time.
For larger camp projects, installation proceeds on a rolling basis — multiple teams working across multiple blocks simultaneously. A 50-unit dormitory camp can typically reach a habitable state within 7–15 working days depending on site access and base preparation.
Yes. We have an installation team based in Saudi Arabia and can provide on-site assembly and installation support for projects across the Kingdom. Installation can be scoped as part of the supply contract or arranged separately.
For supply-only orders, we provide installation drawings, component labelling, and remote technical support to assist your site team.
Minimum site preparation for a single-storey installation typically includes:
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Level ground | Graded and compacted base area |
| Footings | Concrete pad or point footings at column positions |
| Access road | Min. 3.5 m width for delivery vehicle |
| Crane / forklift | Required for upper floor installation (G+1, G+2) |
| MEP stub-outs | Power supply point and drainage outlet if applicable |
Customisation
Yes. While we offer standard configurations from stock for urgent requirements, custom layouts, dimensions, and fit-out specifications are available for larger or longer-lead orders.
Customisable elements include: internal partition layout, door and window positions and sizes, wall panel thickness and colour, floor finish type, electrical fit-out level, and external cladding options.
Yes. Multiple units can be arranged side-by-side with internal connecting openings to create larger open-plan spaces. This is commonly used for camp canteens, meeting rooms, and larger site offices where a single 18 m² unit is insufficient.
For very large spans — dining halls serving 200+ people, or warehouse-scale storage — we recommend considering our light steel structure building range, which offers column-free spans of 6–12 m and greater design flexibility.
