Product Specification

GS Smart Automatic Public Toilet

A single self-contained smart public toilet for parks, streets, waterfronts and transit areas. Galvanised-steel and 304 frame, aluminium-honeycomb exterior and sintered-stone floor. It connects to municipal water and drainage, or runs off-grid on its own clean-water and waste tanks.

Smart, Safe & Built for KSA

Why It's Automatic — A Self-Cleaning Smart Unit Built For Saudi Conditions

The GS runs the full visit without a hand on a surface and without a camera on a user. Touchless use, odour control, radar safety, electrical protection and water-saving operation work as one system, specified for Saudi heat and dust.

Touchless From Door To Exit

The whole visit is contactless, from the occupancy light at the door to the wave-activated seat cover and sensor washing. Fewer shared touchpoints in a high-traffic public unit means cleaner use and fewer complaints.

Auto-Hygiene Built In

Nano disinfection, a photocatalytic anti-bacterial floor and an instant-deodorise button hold the unit between cleaning rounds. Automatic functions support hygiene; they do not replace the cleaning crew.

Ion Deodorisation + Fresh Air

Ion deodorisation with negative-pressure organisation keeps odour from escaping the unit and sterilises at 95% or higher. Heat-exchange ventilation holds the air fresh without losing AC energy. No consumables, no secondary pollution.

GS Smart System
Automatic Public Toilet TOUCHLESS · ODOUR · RADAR

Safety Without A Camera

The GS senses presence by radar, not cameras, so user privacy is protected. Fall and over-stay detection raise an alert, and a direct SOS call routes to the operator for an unmanned site.

Reliable Through Heat And Dust

The electronics are specified for Saudi conditions. The radar reads through heat, smoke and dust where a camera fails, the AC holds the cabin cool on a set cycle, and electrical protection covers leakage, water-pressure faults and low water, with an automatic cut-off that stops a leak before it spreads.

Built To A Water Budget

Water use runs at about 4.5 litres per visit, up to 75% less than a conventional public toilet and around 328 m³ saved per cubicle each year. An optional BIPV solar package can cover close to 80% of daily energy, lowering the running cost that shows up in year two.

Public Service Functions

One Restroom Point, More Public Services

A GS automatic public toilet can be planned as more than a restroom. Around the main toilet unit, Saudind can review add-on public service functions for parks, transport areas, tourism sites and municipal streets.

Smart Operation

Run Many Units From One Online Platform

The GS reports to one online platform so a small team runs a whole network from a phone or PC. Every line below is backed by a figure from the unit itself.

Platform

One Platform, Phone And PC

Each unit streams live data to one platform, reachable on phone and PC. Six environment channels report at once: ammonia (NH₃), hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), PM2.5, VOCs, smoke, and temperature/humidity. The operator reads air quality per unit without a site visit.

Tank Level

Refill On Data, Not On A Guess

The unit holds an 80 L clean-water tank and a 160 L waste tank, each rated for about 120 uses. The platform shows the remaining level, so a refill or pump-out is scheduled at the 120-use mark, not on a fixed round.

Energy + Water

Energy And Water On One Reading

The unit draws 800 W at 220 V and uses 4.5 L per visit. Both are reported live, so power and water cost per unit is a number on the screen, not an estimate.

Alerts

Fault And SOS Pushed In Real Time

A fault or an SOS press is pushed by SMS and app the moment it triggers. The 79 GHz radar adds fall and over-stay alerts, with no camera footage. On an unmanned site the team acts before the public reports anything.

Remote Mode

Door And Mode Set Remotely

Open, close, night-lock and maintenance mode are set from the platform. The AC runs on a fixed rule — on above 25 °C, holding the cabin temperature — so climate is managed without a visit.

Cost Control

Built To Cut The Running Bill

Each cubicle saves about 328 m³ of water a year at up to 75% less use. An open third-party interface ties into a city platform, and a solar input is pre-fitted to offset up to 80% of daily energy.

Operation note Platform channels, alert routing and city-platform integration are confirmed against the selected model and the site operation plan.

Applications

Public Space Applications

Automatic Public Toilet FAQ

Questions Before A Public Toilet Project

Answers for municipality teams, facility developers and contractors in Saudi Arabia evaluating the GS automatic public toilet for parks, streets, tourism sites and transport areas.

Project Configuration

Share your site type, daily user flow, available utilities and the functions you need. Saudind recommends a suitable GS configuration.

Fit Which sites and which GS model.
Smart & Hygiene Self-clean, touchless, odour, radar safety.
Utilities & Cost Power, water, drainage, off-grid mode.
KSA Conditions Heat, durability, accessibility, signage.
The smart functions handle the between-use cycle: automatic flush, touchless faucet, soap and dryer, an auto seat-cover change, ion deodorisation and a photocatalytic anti-bacterial floor. They keep the unit usable between visits. They do not replace cleaning. You still need a crew for floor washing, refills and inspection. The platform tells the crew which unit needs attention, so they go on data, not on a fixed round.
Yes. The GS runs in two modes. Connected to mains water (DN15) and drainage (DN32), or fully off-grid on its own 80 L clean-water tank and 160 L waste tank. Each tank cycle covers about 120 uses, so a low-traffic point can run a full day or more between service, and refill or pump-out is scheduled when the platform shows the level is low.
Each unit draws 800 W at 220 V (50–60 Hz) and uses about 4.5 litres per visit, of which 4 litres is the flush. That is up to 75% less water than a conventional public toilet, around 328 m³ saved per cubicle each year. An optional solar input can offset close to 80% of daily energy.
The built-in air conditioner switches on above 25 °C and holds the cabin temperature. The exterior is fluorocarbon-coated aluminium and aluminium honeycomb over a galvanised-steel or 304 frame, with a sintered-stone floor. The 79 GHz radar keeps working through heat, smoke and dust where a camera would fail. Outdoor placement and anchoring are set per site.
Every unit reports to one online platform on phone or PC. A fault or an SOS press is pushed by SMS and app the moment it triggers. Electrical protection covers leakage, water-pressure faults and low water, with an automatic cut-off that stops a leak. The radar also raises fall and over-stay alerts, with no camera and no footage, so user privacy is kept.
Send the daily visitor flow, the site type and the utility condition. As a planning guide, a single GS unit suits a low-to-medium footfall point, and busier sites are covered by placing several units together. Off-grid points are also sized around the 120-use tank cycle. Saudind confirms the count and layout with you before quotation.
Yes. The GS-A is the accessible single unit, with handrails, a low-position control, anti-slip floor, wider turning space and an SOS call. A baby-care fit-out can be reviewed. For separate male and female zones in one larger building, see the Public Restroom Building page.
The plumbing is specified to the Saudi Building Code, SBC 701. Material specifications and project documents are provided with the quotation, and compliance paperwork can be supplied for the project file. Send your project requirement and Saudind will confirm what documentation the approval needs.
The unit carries a 24-month repair warranty against listed performance faults, with return or exchange in the first 7 days and exchange or repair from day 8 to 15. Common faults map to replaceable parts — door handle, flush valve, fuse, AC, infrared sensor — so a fault is usually a part change, not a unit change. Warranty terms and spare-parts support are confirmed in the contract.
A level placement of about 2.1 m² per unit, a power point at 220 V, and either a mains water and drainage connection or access for tank service. Send the site location, footprint, power route, water and drainage condition and access route. Saudind reviews the model, the utility interface and the install scope from that.
