A portable toilet is a general term that includes any freestanding sanitation unit. A portable toilet cabin is a factory-built structural unit — it has a steel frame, wall panels, a lockable door, a window, ventilation, lighting and a full floor. It functions like a small room rather than a plastic housing. Saudind K-Series T-BOX cabins are assembled from flat-packed panels by two workers in 30 minutes, then placed directly on site with no foundation or civil work. The cabin stays on site for the duration of the project and can be disassembled and moved when the project ends.
K-Series T-BOX cabins are rated for an operating temperature range of −10°C to +55°C and a humidity tolerance up to 95%. The wall and roof panels are 50 mm colour-steel foam sandwich board, which provides thermal insulation against direct sun exposure. The steel frame is electrostatic-sprayed for UV and corrosion resistance. Ventilation is handled by a lower exhaust fan, wall louver and upper door window working together to maintain airflow even when ambient temperature is high. Units are also anchored via the base frame — they do not shift in sandstorm wind conditions.
Yes. Because the cabin requires no fixed foundation, it can be repositioned by forklift, crane or flatbed truck as the site layout develops. Each single unit weighs approximately 105–125 kg and has forklift channels and a crane lifting ring built into the structure. Disconnecting and reconnecting water and waste lines is straightforward provided the new position has the same utility access. This makes the cabin a practical choice for phased construction sites where sanitation zones need to shift as work progresses.
The K-Series T-BOX uses a 1.4 mm steel frame with electrostatic anti-corrosion spraying, 304 stainless steel floor and a sealed panel structure. With standard maintenance — regular cleaning, waste tank service and occasional door hardware checks — the cabin structure is built for multi-year site use. The first components to show wear are door hinges and latch hardware, which are replaceable without replacing the cabin. The floor, frame and panels are designed to outlast the duration of most Saudi construction projects.
For a construction site or worker camp running at normal use levels, daily interior cleaning is the standard. The K-Series floor is 304 stainless anti-slip steel or ceramic tile — both surfaces wipe down quickly and do not retain odours the way porous materials do. Waste tank pump-out frequency depends on tank size, daily use count and temperature: higher temperatures accelerate decomposition, so more frequent service is better practice in Saudi conditions. If the cabin is connected to direct drainage, pump-out is not required — only routine interior cleaning applies.
Yes. The KS-W1B1 and KS-W1B1E1 models combine a toilet and shower in a single cabin unit. The shower zone is separated by an 8 mm tempered glass partition with a 304 stainless 3-head shower, hot and cold control and a 50 L hot water tank. This configuration is commonly used on Saudi worker camps where post-shift washing and pre-prayer ablution are both part of daily use. For large camps needing dedicated shower blocks without a toilet, the KS-B2T1 double shower unit is the purpose-built option.
A practical starting point used in Saudi construction projects is one toilet cabin per 15–20 workers, adjusted for shift overlap, cleaning frequency and camp layout. The K-Series single cabin (KS-S1, KS-W1) handles up to 80 uses per day; a double unit (KS-S2, KS-W2) handles up to 200 uses per day. Sites with round-the-clock shifts or limited cleaning access should plan a higher ratio. Send your worker count, shift pattern and site plan so Saudind can recommend a specific cabin arrangement.
Yes. K-Series double units (KS-S2, KS-W2, KS-W1S1) are factory-built as two independent stalls sharing one structural frame. Multiple double units can then be placed side-by-side to form a larger toilet block — useful for large worker camps requiring male and female separation in adjacent zones. Each unit within a cluster has its own independent drain outlet and flush system, so servicing one unit does not interrupt the others. The modular frame design is specifically built for this kind of scalable grouping.
K-Series models offer three floor finishes: 304 stainless anti-slip steel, ceramic anti-slip tile and marble stone. For construction sites and worker camps, the 304 stainless floor (1.2 mm, knurled anti-slip surface) is the most practical — it is fast to clean, does not stain, handles heavy footfall and resists the sand and grit that enters from outdoor site conditions. Ceramic tile is commonly selected for camps where aesthetics matter more. Marble is used in the combined toilet-shower unit (KS-W1B1E1) where a higher-finish interior is required.
Yes. Exterior colour, project logo and Arabic / English directional signage are applied at the factory before shipping. Male and female signs, accessible toilet markings and occupancy indicators are standard options. Custom RAL colours — including camouflage patterns used in specialist remote camp or military project orders — are available for bulk orders. All signage is printed or applied as part of the cabin panel finish, not added on as stickers after delivery.
